Hello Sweet Cheer: It's Wednesday!

It's Wednesday!

Hi friends!

Stay tuned later this week for details on my 4th of July including food, family fun, and fashion!

In other news...I've recently joined a network of wonderful bloggers and I'm super excited to get involved!  It's called Texas Women Bloggers and I have high hopes that it will be an awesome connection and resource!  They're doing a link up that I'm excited to be a part of!  Here goes...

A Selfie Blogger Interview

1. What part of the state do you call home?
I technically call two parts of Texas home!  Because I'm in college home is in Lubbock where I go to Texas Tech.  But home is also where I grew up and where my family lives, in the North Dallas area!

2. How long have you been blogging?
About a year and a half!

3. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging as a way to begin doing active ministry while I'm still a student!

4. What do you hope to get out of the Texas Women Bloggers community?
I hope to link up a lot, meet new bloggie friends, and learn from everyone!

5. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself married, living somewhere near Dallas, working in adoption!

6. If you could choose an actress to play you in your life, who would you choose and why?
Even though these two have gone a little crazy in the past few years...I would choose Mary-Kate or Ashley Olson.  They would embody my crazy, silly, fun personality and they are the only celebrities I slighty resemble!

7. Name 5 things on your Bucket List that you hope you’ll check off before you die?
I hope I finish all of the things on my 25 before 25 list!  I would most love to do the following: a wine tasting, go to a drive-in, go on a road trip with my girlfriends, visit the Grand Canyon, and get a massage!

8. If you could be known for one thing, what would it be and why?
If I could be known for one thing I would hope it would be that I love Jesus Christ and live my life in full surrender to Him!  It's why I started blogging!

9. Describe one “wow” moment in your life.
A "wow" moment would probably be when I moved away to college, got into my dorm room and realized I had just gained a significant amount of independence.  It was a bittersweet day but it's what started this whole chapter of my life!

10. If you could “be” anything (no consequences, no fear), what would you “be”?
If I could be a recording artist...I totally would!  I can't sing but if I could I think I'd love touring and meeting people and just being outgoing all the time!  And getting paid for it!

Well there you have it!  If you're here for the first time, it's nice to meet you (*virtual handshake*)!  Leave your link in the comments so I can check out your blog!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you'll stay a while!
