Hello Sweet Cheer: Craziness

It's been a while... Life has been quick and busy but blogging has been slooooow.

Many times over the past few weeks I've started to write a post and then stopped.  I'm not sure why that is, exactly.  I've been wanting to post so badly but haven't had a whole lot to say.  At any rate, here are the past 12 days in pictures!

Typical girl's nights

We decorated for Fall! :)

My roommates and I shared the yummiest treat at Pie Bar!

I made the best Pinterest recipe!

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.  Thaw out a few chicken breasts, wash and cut fresh green beans, dice some new potatoes.  Put it all in a pyrex (or whatever you like to use).  I would suggest covering the pyrex with foil first so it's easier to wash later (I obviously didn't do that here).  Drizzle some olive oil, season with garlic powder, onion powder, and italian seasoning.  Recipe calls for a stick of butter in the pan but I was going for something a little healthier.  Throw it in the oven for an hour and enjoy!  This literally took 20 minutes of prep time.  A great meal for a busy evening!

Had a nice coffee date with my goofy roommates.

Texas Tech Football!  Game four.  We won again!  Now we have a bye week to prepare for our next Big 12 match-up.

That's all for today.  I'm going to do my best to stick to a blogging schedule this semester.  The past few weeks have been a huge learning experience.  It takes effort to keep this thing up!  I love it but I have to put in the time to make it what I want it to be!  Thanks so much for reading.  You'll never understand how much I appreciate it!

  1. You forgot to mention me in this one. It's okay though.

  2. I love your fall decorations. I've been seeing halloween owls everywhere and I'm so excited about that because I love owls!

and those desserts look yummy. Did yall serve them in a candle holder or is it actually for serving food? just curious haha

    1. Thanks so much, Kat! I love owls too, and I just think the one I found is so dang cute! The desserts were from a local place called Pie Bar! They come in something similar to a shot glass! It's kind of a clever thing, they have pie in martini glasses, shot glasses, wine glasses, etc. It's super cool place. Thanks for reading :)

  3. I was the same way when I was in college. it was hard to just sit and write because I didn't want life to pass me by. By the looks of your pictures, you're having a lot of fun! Don't worry about not updating. The memories you make are the ones in those pictures. Not the ones where you're sitting at your desk typing on your blog! :)

    1. You're so right! Thanks for your encouragement, for always reading and for being faithful to comment! You're the best.
