Hello Sweet Cheer: July 2016

Titus Matthew | 1 Month

Today is July 13th, which means Titus is officially an entire month old! He is changing so fast. It's hard to believe.  We are so in love with our sweet boy. Some days are ridiculously difficult, but they are so worth it. I am so thankful for my sweet husband, he is such a great daddy and I couldn't do this without his love, support and hands on help! Titus and I love you, babe!

I've tried a few times to sit down and write out some of my thoughts on how Titus was born. I really want to do that. The times I've tried I've just realized I'm still not ready. I'm still processing everything, asking Ryan questions about things I don't remember, praying through my worth as a daughter of the Lord - not as a mom. That post will come soon, but for now...our one month old!!!

A G E: One month

W E I G H T: At his 2 week doctor visit he weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces. He's definitely grown since then though so I'd guess he's close to 10 pounds?

L E N G T H: At birth, 22 1/4 inches

S I Z E: Size 1 diapers as of about a week ago! He can wear certain brands of NB clothes (all his NB shorts still fit) but we are mostly putting him in 0-3m and 3m clothes! How is my baby growing so fast?!

E Y E S: Dark brown!

H A I R: Dark brown!

S L E E P I N G: These days his sleep is a little crazy. He generally only eats once or twice in the middle of the night depending on what time he goes down. Mornings are usually longer naps and then from 5 or 6 in the evening until bedtime, he is pretty unpredictable. Some days he's great, some days he loses it!

E A T I N G: Mama's milk! Every 2-4 hours around the clock.

M I L E S T O N E S: Baby boy lifts his head up so high off of our shoulders, he transitioned from sleeping in the Rock-a-Roo at night to sleeping flat on his back (which is a challenge with a reflux baby), and he is finally looking at us instead of just in our direction! He responds to our voices and even turns his head to look at us. He coos and makes so many more sweet sounds than he had before. He has also given real smiles a handful of times and they've actually been in reaction to us, not just because of gas! Both Ryan and I have gotten to see it and it is the sweetest face!!

O U T I N G S: We go to church, the grocery store, to friend's houses, doctor appointments and he will be headed to Libby and Grandad's house for the first time this weekend!

F A V  T O Y S/A C T I V I T I E S: Sleeping and eating and listening to daddy's silly songs!

W O R D S/S O U N D S: Coos, screams and cries!

N I C K N A M E S: Titus boy, Love bug, Bug, Lovie

F U N N Y  M O M E N T S: So many toots, spitting up on daddy for the first time, and all the times he pushes out a big poop with the most determined look on his face!

And here are some photos from throughout his first month!!
